History was made in Kiev tonight. Real Madrid once again became the Kings of Europe with a 3-1 victory over Liverpool. The match had its dramatic moments.

Liverpool started the game very promising with some good chances against Real’s Keylor Navas, who once again proved he is one of the top goalkeepers on the planet. The first big moment came at the 30th minute where Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah collided with Sergio Ramos. Their arms connected while falling and Ramos landed on top of Salah. Salah landed awkwardly on his shoulder and cried out in pain. He knew the injury was severe. The medical team took a look at him but Salah persisted on playing more. Then he realized he couldn’t continue anymore. The Liverpool medical staff diagnosed Salah’s injury as a dislocated shoulder. The team will examine if the injury will keep the Egyptian superstar out from the World Cup this summer.

Then another major injury occurred with this time being Real Madrid’s turn. Spanish international Dani Carvajal. He was looking to back heel to his team but his leg landed awkwardly. Carvajal’s hamstring was done. He was later subbed off for Nacho.

Halftime remained goalless. The second half started a explosion of chances. The first goal came from a goalkeeping blunder from Liverpool’s Loris Karius. Karius tried to rush the throw but Karim Benzema read the play and was able to tap it in for the easiest goal of Benzema’s career.

Things got interesting 4 minutes later as a wonderful cross from Dejan Lovren which was tapped in from Sadio Mane.

After that, the greatest goal in UEFA Champions League history happened. Gareth Bale came in the 61st minute for Isco and scored a incredible bicycle kick goal. The Welshman had a injury-plagued season this season but his performance in this year’s final was nothing short of spectacular.

The Welsh wizard finished the game off with a shot from 35-40 yards out that came in with such pace that Karius was unable to make a save from it.

Madrid was lethal tonight and were worthy of being champions.

Real Madrid have a stacked team but they have to replace some aging and exposing parts of the roster. If Zidane stays next season, this is what he has to do to strengthen their squad.

Neymar – Paris Saint-Germain

Ronaldo is 33 years old and will be losing a step eventually. Real are always looking for the next superstar to shine at theĀ BernabĆ©u. No one bigger than PSG’s Neymar. Granted PSG broke the bank to get him to Paris, Real would have to shatter that record to land Neymar. Perez isn’t afraid to spend the cash to get his star.

Harry Kane – Tottenham Hotspur

Real needs to part ways from Karim Benzema. Benzema had a disappointing 2017/18 season for Madrid. Zidane would like to look into options up front. No one better than Kane. He will not be cheap for Madrid but he is ready to don the all white.

KepaĀ Arrizabalaga – Athletic Bilbao

Madrid will have to look for a replacement for Kiko Casilla. Kepa would perfect for Madrid. Now Kepa is young and won’t start over Keylor Navas, but he will be the keeper of the future.

AlvaroĀ Odriozola – Real SociedadĀ

Real realized a huge problem this season. Once Carvajal went down, they lacked depth at right back.Ā Odriozola would be perfect for Madrid. He snuck in the Spain 23 man roster for the World Cup this summer after a breakthrough season at Sociedad. He wouldn’t cost that much for Real which is perfect.

Timo Werner – RB LeipzigĀ

If Kane doesn’t come through Madrid this summer, they should look into a cheaper option in Werner. Werner is fantastic for Leipzig and would be looking into big clubs this summer. Especially if he has a great World Cup!
